HOW MANY YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE? ARE YOU INSURED?
We are insured. All musicians and bands are personally auditioned and contracted by Stars on 45 and a staff of professionals before being represented by our office. Eddie Garr has been a professional musician, bandleader and agent for over 25 years.

ARE YOU WILLING TO BE THE ANNOUNCER/EMCEE?
Yes, all our bandleaders are well versed and experienced Masters of Ceremonies. We also believe in a performance emphasizing good taste and attention to detail. We process the itineraries of each event after careful discussions with our clients.

WHAT WILL YOU WEAR AT MY EVENT?
Our bands dress in formal attire unless you prefer a different look. Many bands have outfits for theme parties, but for most events, formal dress is standard operating attire.

DO YOU PROVIDE YOUR OWN SOUND SYSTEM/EQUIPMENT?
All bands are self-contained with professional sound equipment and are sensitive to the volume at which they perform.

HOW LONG WILL YOU PERFORM, HOW MANY BREAKS WILL YOU TAKE AND HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?
Generally, contracts are for a standard time frame of 4 hours. This includes 3 fifteen minute breaks for the musicians. Continuous music is available at a reasonable rate as is an extended performance package. You may also be interested in “buying” the band’s last break to achieve more of a continuous flow later in the evening.

WHAT IS CONTINUOUS MUSIC?
This means that there will always be live music playing during your event. Some band members will take brief respites at times that occur naturally in the flow of a wedding, e.g., main course, etc. , but there will always be two or more individuals performing.

CAN YOU PROVIDE TAPED OR CD MUSIC DURING THE BREAKS?
If you choose not to have live continuous music, most bands bring and play tapes or CDs on the breaks. You may bring your favorite CDs that night or even “burn” a custom CD for the event.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY AND CHARGE FOR OVERTIME?
Once you book a band through our office, they are yours for the evening! All of our musicians are professionals and are more than happy to play a little longer. Overtime can be included in the issued contract or can be optioned the night of the engagement when you see what a great time everyone is having! Additional time is available on a pro rata basis.
