STARS ON 45 is an extremely versatile group of musicians and singers who hit the charts worldwide with their trend setting sound-alike dance medleys of the '80's and '90's. They are best known for their 1981 smash hit "Beatles' Medley", which topped the charts in every major international market, and their uncanny ability to sound like the legendary artists of pop music.

Their follow up albums included sound-alike medleys of artists such as Stevie Wonder, the Rolling Stones, Abba, other Motown artists, the classic '70's dance and many others. STARS ON 45 made the transition from international recording artists to private entertainment in 1986 and since then has been providing superlative dancing and listening music for private functions of all types.

Eddie Garr (bass and vocals) is the Co-leader and founder of STARS ON 45. With roots in jazz and R&B, Eddie provides a solid, funky bottom end for the band as well as a crystal clear, distinctive vocal style, well-suited for the melodic ballads of the 50's and 60's as well as gutsy rock and R&B classics. Prior to the formation of STARS ON 45 in 1981, Eddie toured with such well-known record acts as "Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show," the Walter Murphy Band (A Fifth of Beethoven), and Billy Vera and the Beaters.

Stu Freeman (keyboards and vocals) is the frontman and Co-leader of STARS ON 45. Stu supplies many of the sound-alike vocals for the group with an exceptionally versatile voice, noted for an ability to capture the varied styles and vocal qualities of a wide range of legendary artists. Stu was a member of hit record acts including the Ritchie Family ("Brazil"), early '70's Rock group the "Magic Mushrooms", and performed in the touring company of "Jesus Christ Superstar" as well as the Broadway Rock musical "Hard Job Being God".
